Merry Christmas, anon. And thanks to FL for this great post. Pretty much sums things up, no?

I love all the Christmas graphics. Nice job by the video maker.

I have finally wrapped my last present and can get some sleep. (Yes, it's almost 6AM - is there something wrong?!)

Merry Christmas to all our readers and lurkers and posters. And to Jake, of course!

See you all later tonight after too much turkey and pie and presents. Wait - there's no such thing as too many presents.

Thanks to FL for the nice little Christmas morning video..... definitely got me into the proper spirit of the day!

I also really like the special holiday graphic design you've added to GLB. Although Jarhead Jake in a Santa hat is pretty much a cherished year-round image for me! : )

Hope Jake and Reese (and kids) are sharing a wonderful Christmas together. Wonder if he really is going to be back at work in NM tomorrow?

Happy Holidays to you all.

Had a bit of time and was surfing to relax and did discover this. While it is not exactly new, I have not seen it posted elsewhere, which doesn´t mean it has.

Brentwood Stars Come Out at Night

I am on such a roll. Saturday night. Dinner at a diner in Brentwood with the kids. Decided to go across the street to the Halloween store on the corner because, of course, Halloween is in 4 days and if we don't, Boys #1 and 2 will be a Cubs fan and a football player. Again. The store was filled with scary masks and overpriced Halloween stuff and desperate adult shoppers. I decided to step outside while the boys decided which scary masks to buy that they will surely end up taking off in order to actually SEE while trick or treating. I sat on a ledge outside the store and looked toward the street and who did I see? Jake and Reese. Gyllenhaal and Witherspoon. Yep, the Brokeback guy and the Legally Blonde girl. Holding hands. And walking toward the Halloween store. Even celebs get into the Halloween spirit, I guess. As Reese walked toward the store, she adjusted her baseball cap, pulling it lower on her head. Jake had no hat, just a beard and a puffy vest. She is verrrry tiny and very pretty. They were holding hands and leaning into each other. There were no paparazzi in sight, so If they're not REALLY a couple they were doing a great impression of one. Of course I walked back into the store after they did. He picked out a very oversized brown cowboy hat and I didn't see what she got. I was too busy trying not to look like I was staring at them. In the checkout line she leaned back into him as his hand caressed her back and even lower!!! (This is a family blog, you know.) I really need to start carrying my camera with me.

Sidney Poitier, Jake and Reese. My sightings are getting better and better. It's mostly all Oscar winners now. Can Brangelina be far behind?

sorry for the second post, but I meant "it hasn´t", of course.
Must be because all my blood is in my stomach region now, desperately trying to digest all the stuff I have eaten these last two days.
Agent, I can so relate to your feelings!
Merry Christmas again, have a fabulous time everybody!
And thanks to UV and FL for this wonderful blog and the spirit lifting perfect little Christmas presents.

Wow, what a lovely christmas present you brought us smile. I had not seen or read that before. What a lovely image, leaning into each other, her leaning into him, his hand on her lower back.

I especially like this bit - There were no paparazzi in sight, so If they're not REALLY a couple they were doing a great impression of one.

Ha! and awwww.

Now off I go to pack on the feedbag...with a smile on my face.

Whew!!!!I feel like a beached whale!!!! Tomorrow I am seriously going to get back on my regimen. Seriously. Popped in bcz,....well... I guess I'm an addict and having just returned from a very exhausting (No one should spend six hours eating!)Christmas "lunch" at nearly 8PM, I just had to see what was going on. What a sweet video!!! It was fun. And thanks for sharing that blogger's sighting of Halloween J&R, smile. Guess a lot of celebs head for Aspen or Hawaii, but whatever they are doing for Christmas,I hope they're together.

Let me continue one of the themes of today's comments..... too much food! First thing I did when I got home tonight was change into my comfy clothes.

Wow, thanks to smile for sharing that wonderful Halloween sighting.... I had never read that anywhere else.

"In the checkout line she leaned back into him as his hand caressed her back and even lower!!!"

(sigh) Lucky, lucky Reese!

Hey all!

Just got in from the many Christmas get togethers, etc the past couple of days. Today's being the "traditional" Jewish Christmas Day activities. Going to the movies (The Great Debaters - great movie) and out for Chinese food, lol! As many have already said, I am stuffed full of food. Oy! Am now cozy and in comfy clothes for relaxing.

FluorescentLamp /Felicia, that Jake!Christmas video is fabulous! What I wouldn't give to have Jake in front of me for the holidays! ;p

Smile, what a great Jake/Reese sighting! Love that they seemed to be so affectionate with each other. :)

Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday!

Hi UV,
Merry Christmas one more time everyone.

I rolled my stuffed and should be trussed body into my chair just in time to read the latest Jake/Reese sighting. How wonderful for us Gyllenspooners. TY smiles... *big grin* I loved the blogger's comments. Indulge me please. *grin*

She sounds like fun. I really feel sorry for her...a Chicago transplant of one year,, trying to keep the seasons schedule going. She'll soon give that up and accept the occasional 92 degree Halloween and and 72 degree Christmas day.

Gosh I'm too full now. *ow* I don't think I'll eat again for a year...*hah*
You think Jake played cowboy later at home with her son?
I loved playing cowboy with my brother and dad when I was a youngster.:)
ambling off to bed now...

Monica, can you copy and paste that please? I couldn't find it.

Hi UV,

I know this is so wrong...but I had to read the article. I usually never read the Star...Jake what you do to me:)

I wish I could shop this jeweler--Cartier anyplace...Jake shopped in Beverly Hills with his sister... who knows...and he supposedly bought her the necklace from their fantastically beautiful Love collection; I'm pea green:)

Above information acquired while I waited to see "There Will Be Blood," a hella good movie.
*grin*

Links to Cartier's love collection!

Cartier's love Collection

I love the Love collection, and I really love the idea of Jake buying Reese the necklace from that collection even if it may not be true:)
