The ascent begins

Updated with a photo from L'Uomo Vogue:

Friday was Everest press junket day in L.A. We got our usual happy/sad/pensive yearbook photos of Jake at the press conference, plus some hilarious videos.

A couple of Details outtakes. Hopefully Stephanie will get the unwatermarked versions someday!

It's Southpaw Day

Apparently, it's National Left-Handers Day. I don't think they mean the movie, but why not take the chance to commemorate the holiday anyway and go see it! Jake celebrated by paying a visit to the Summer Camp at LB4LB Boxing, the home gym of Terry Clayton:

And here's a new/old Southpaw interview video:

The Everest website is up and running. And Outside did a cover feature on the movie. It's a good read. The photos are nice, too.

Suddenly Everest

Southpaw is still drawing fans in cinemas and will be opening in more countries over the next few weeks. But Universal is beginning to gear up for Everest, releasing next month. Trailer #2 arrived today:

This is definitely not a star vehicle for Jake, but I'm looking forward to the promotion. The trailer is intense.
