No, it's not St. Paddy's Day. It's Jake Gyllenhaal celebrating the Boston Celtics 17th NBA title. A game which started, coincidentally enough, on the 17th.
Look how happy Jake is that the Celtics beat the Lakers! It'a a thing of beauty!
He's so happy for the Celtics he's even signing autographs. Better check that autograph. It might say Kevin Garnett.
Better watch out Jake, I think the Celtics fans are onto you.
Looks like Jake just remembered he was a Lakers fan.
If I squint, the print on his board shorts looks just like the Celtics shamrock logo!
Congratulations Boston Celtics on an amazing season and an awesome final!

«Oldest ‹Older 201 – 244 of 244So we're to expect a Gyllenhaal/Witherspoon UK summer? Or rather a London summer as I can't imagine Reese hanging out in Cardiff or Manchester.
I'm at the wrong end of the bloody country! I used to spend my summers in London but not anymore. Guess it’s up to you Agent K =]
Noting Hill?? How reliable is Hello magazine?
Would explain her departure from LAX yesterday, but how does anon. above know that she and Jake are setting up and the kids aren't there yet?
If true, Hello was tipped off. We will know one way or te other soon enough.
NAILED UPDATE...
Filming for Nailed to resume tomorrow (Monday) and conclude on Tuesday. I'm not sure what's happening with the DC shoot.
As for how 'Hello Magazine' would know that information. They are a British tabloid. That's the part of the story that I find most interesting and credible. You would expect a British tabloid to uncover such information not an American one, and it appears that they have done exactly that.
The British tabloids are notoriously aggressive. It's possible the real estate people tipped them off. Likely, actually.
My guess, given that both Reese and Jerry Bruckheimer were seen in the same terminal yesterday at the same time --- and JB is producing POP --- she probably flew out on his private plane with him.
I have a feeling they may begin filming Prince of Persia this week.
Splash News has some HQs of Reese at LAX.
Thank you, UV...... I got such a kick out of the Hello "scoop"! Even allowing for the proverbial grain of salt, I suspect there could be some truth to this story.
It doesn't seem too much of a stretch to believe that Jake would want a home base for Reese, kids and himself while he's working. And it really doesn't seem too much of a stretch to believe that Reese would be happy to spend a lot of her summer in London...... I'd be there in a heart beat if I were her...... and it's great for the kids too IMO. Guess we'll find out soon if there's any truth to this story.
I believe they are setting up a place to stay in London
you think she will want to be away from him all summer
clearly they want to be together
I was just thinking time will tell, will she leave her life in LA for a few months to be with him, this will be a sacrifice.
Her friends, LA yoga, country house
Or she will jet back and forth from London to LA
Either way I don't see them being apart
I agree, suvee. I'll take mine with a grain of salt as well. I don't think Reese and the kids will be there the full four months. Eight or ten weeks might be more like it.
I think Jake might be available four months bcz of filming, but it might not take that long. Won't some of that time be spent in Morocco, say, end of August- September?
I don't think the whole wide world knows Jake is in London...unless they all read IHJ. They know Reese and Bruckheimer are there, but probably haven't connected them.
So there's a possible house being let in Notting Hill. Maybe for Gyllenspoon. But maybe for Jake's PA or his manager, etc.
Maybe Reese will be with him for a week or two, then head back to get the kids. OR: Maybe the kids will come with their dad. I think their school has been out since around June 6th or 10th or there abouts.
I'd be curious to know where the studio is where Jake will be working. Bcz it makes sense for Jake to have a place that's closer to work, but maybe they might want to be in a cozy, comfortable neighborhood, for the kids' sake when he isn't working. IDK.
I'm expected Reese to get on a plane after he got on a plane. Bet they had their clothes shipped ahead of time! They do keep me smiling. (sigh!)
I also wonder, even tho it's Hello! magazine, if the leak didn't come from this side of the pond. When you have little kids, and an extended family, and an ex who has friends, it is really hard to keep some things a secret. I mean, you can't "disappear" a whole family...well you can, but these people aren't in that gov't program. ;)
Hi UV. Just a heads up...... I've sent you an email.
Possible Jake will be staying in London the full 4 or 5 months of working, or he will divide his time between London and LA
In the case Reese isn't staying the summer in London
she will fly back and forth between LA and London.
Maybe she will divide her time between London and LA
Hey guys,
I seriously doubt that Reese will spend the entire four months in London (actually, I seriously doubt Jake will either). I suspect it'll just be the summer. I guess what we heard was true and they're filming in London first.
They'll probably film there for a couple of months and Jake will move on to Morocco and Reese and her kids will move back home to California for school.
The filming in Morocco is suppose to take about 5 to 6 weeks additionally.
Given that it's Hello Magazine, from Britain, the leak came from Britain. I'm pretty sure of that.
It wouldn't make sense to leak something like that to a British magazine with it's coverage being mostly overseas. I strongly suspect it came from the real estate people. The story was very much centered on the house that Reese and Jake are to have alledgedly rented. That screams real estate people.
We'll see.
you think they will spend the summer together in London?
And then come back to LA or Morocco in the Fall
maybe they will spend July and August in London together
Yeah, I do not believe that Reese (with or without the kids) will spend 4 months in London. That's just not possible with the realities of her and her kids' lives.
I agree with bobbyanna and brother's spy.....Reese will be there maybe a couple of months, with some trips back to the U.S. as needed.
Now...... how long before we see a Jake with PoP hair pic? I'm dying to see what he's going to look like!
Thanks for the Hello link UV, Notting Hill? I can see it, and I agree that if true that it will probably be for the summer until school starts, I think I read somewhere that Ryan spends timethere in the summer.
How long will POP be filming?
about how many months ??
a guess
I am curious
so you think she living in will be in London July and August?
I'd be curious to know where the studio is where Jake will be working. Bcz it makes sense for Jake to have a place that's closer to work, but maybe they might want to be in a cozy, comfortable neighborhood, for the kids' sake when he isn't working.
bobbyanna, PoP's London shoot will be at Pinewood Shepperton Studios in Surrey.
Shepperton
15 mi, 35 min. from Notting Hill.
I am such a map nerd.
Why thank you, Miz FL;) That eases my mind. Dang! You have encyclopedic knowledge about London. I've always wanted to spend time in a foreign country...but somewhere with indoor plumbing where they spoke English.
Hampstead is very lovely bobbyanna, quite villagey in feel, used to live quite close myself (but in the cheaper end of town), plus there's some very nice open spaces in the nearby vacinity, spent many a hazy summer evening up on Parliment Hill Fields (so called, for the history buffs, because that's where Guy Fawks and friends went to watch the Houses of Parliment go up in flames).
Hopefully we'll get some sightings soon. checking back, Maggie definately stayed in the Notting Hill area during TDK, possibly recommended it for Jake, they won't get bothered too much there.
Don't know how reliable Hello is but these are very interesting developments!

Unfortunately they are, although people like Tom and Nicole lived over here fairly quitely during Eyes Wide Shut, it's all about how they conduct themselves, and possibly not hanging out with Amy Winehouse ;-) - they should be okay.
And yes, I reckon they've been tipped off by the Estate Agents involved - I do the same job and would be sacked immediately if I did the same. I can honestly say, if by some miracle they rented via my agency, I wouldn't even say on this board - I'm sure you'd all understand why.

Hmmmmm. Agent K, dearie, come sit and rest yourself. Have a cuppa...now. Explain the phone calls!
Yes explain agent K!!
'Nailed' gunned down -- again
By Andrew Shain - ashain@thestate.com
Even in the final stretch of filming in Columbia, "Nailed" can't catch a break.
Filming was supposed to finish this weekend on the comedy starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Jessica Biel, but shoot was shut down for a fourth time.
The International Alliance of Theatrical & Stage Employees ordered members to avoid the set on Friday because movie crews had not been paid -- again, Variety and L.A. Weekly reported.
Filming was expected to start again today, a source told Variety. The S.C. Film Commission said it did not know if shooting had resumed. Attempts to reach the production company of "Nailed" was unsuccessful today.
The independent movie's backer, Capitol Films, received financing this month to get filming restarted after the last stoppage by crew members that began on May 22 and lasted nearly two weeks.
The financing was supposed to be enough to get through the shooting and pay union penalties, sources told The Hollywood Reporter this month.
Still, the sources said at the time they don't know if there's enough money to last through post-production. "One more shutdown will kill the movie," a film executive told by The Hollywood Reporter this month.
The shoot around Columbia, which started in mid-April, was supposed to end Sunday.
Work on the movie was stopped three times during two weeks in May -- twice by the union representing movie crews after members were not paid and once by the actors union because not enough money was put into accounts used to pay its members.
"Nailed" is a political satire co-written by Kristin Gore, the former vice president's daughter, and the film's director David O. Russell.
Biel plays an uninsured receptionist who becomes sex-crazed after a maintenance worker accidentally shoots a nail into her head. She goes to Washington to fight for the rights of "bizarrely injured" people where she meets a congressman, played by Gyllenhaal, who takes advantage of her sex drive.
Columbia was chosen for filming, in part, because the State House could double for the U.S. Capitol.
Nailed is a mess!
People has a poll asking if you'd date various celebs (John Mayer, McBongo, Lance Armstrong, Jake).
So far, Jake has the highest "Yes" total.
Jake is destroying the competition there. He has nearly a twenty point lead over Clooney and Armstrong and Mayer have negative results.
I was surprised that 75% of women said they wouldn't date Lance Armstrong. I think he's getting a lot of bad press lately involving his private life. But it still surprises me.
I'm not surprised about Armstrong, I hope for Hudson that this is just a fling.
PS: Interesting news about Jake and Reese, I'll keep my ears peeled!
My husband says I am spending too much time on this celebrity stuff :(

Capitol Films Nailed Over Financial Shortage
By Rafe Telsch: 2008-06-23 11:55:35
Capitol Films Nailed Over Financial Shortage You know the old saying, “If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again”? That seems to be the motto for the independent comedy Nailed, which stars Jessica Biel and Jake Gyllenhaal. The movie has now been shut down four times due to financial problems. You see, if you don’t pay the cast and crew, they don’t work. That’s the position financeer Capitol Films has found themselves in several times, the most recently coming Friday when members of the International Alliance of Theatrical and Stage Employees were ordered not to show up to work by their union after they weren’t paid.
You would think the producers at Capitol Films would know better. Variety’s story on the situation outlines three other shutdowns for the exact same problems, twice ordered by IATSE, and once by SAG when there wasn’t enough money in the production’s account to pay the actors.
Despite the studio’s financial woes, an inside source said production was expected to continue this week for the last two days of shooting, which includes a key scene for the movie. If I knew I was running short on funds, I probably would have moved key scenes up to make sure they were filmed before work stoppages occurred. Then again, since stoppages have been a trend throughout the past two months of filming, I guess there’s no real way to figure out where to put those key scenes.
Nailed is a mega mess, i'm so glad that Jake is finished filming but I feel bad for Jessica because this is really a star vehicle for her.
I hope pOP will go smooth for Jake, no problems after nailed
NAILED UPDATE...
Well, all of you will be glad to know that they have officially wrapped "Nailed."
Apparently today's filming was done in "record time." My hunch is that everyone wanted to get the hell out of dodge.
Anyway, it's done. Russell has reserved the right to "revamp" the scene they were filming at a later date, which was a very important one (it's the one where Jess gets the actual nail to the head). But he has decided that any "revamping" will be done in some California studio, if necessary.
The film is now officially in post-production.
One last thing...
They sent a second unit team to film in DC over the weekend. So that's done as well.
Pre-production has started for Pop in the UK:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0473075/board/thread/109581786
what is Pre-production??
You mean Jake is starting to film?
Stages of filmmaking
* Development. The script is written and drafted into a workable blueprint for a film.
* Pre-production. Preparations are made for the shoot, in which cast and crew are hired, locations are selected, and sets are built.
* Production. The raw elements for the finished film are recorded.
* Post-production. The film is edited; music tracks (and songs) are composed, performed and recorded; sound effects are designed and recorded; and any other computer-graphic 'visual' effects are digitally added, and the film is fully completed.
* Sales and distribution. The film is screened for potential buyers (distributors), is picked up by a distributor and reaches its theater and/or home media audience.
Evening peeps,
I'm glad Nailed is completed. AS for Lance Armstrong, I hope Kate leaves him behind real soon. I saw a pic of her kissing him...arrrgh.
Of course I would date either Jake or George:)
Twitter, according to the poster on imdb, it was a working weekend for the principle cast members and it involved costume fittings.
The poster also says they will start filming the Morocco scenes the first week in July and then return to the UK to film at the studio until August
Ok help me understand how the movie works
1 week in July to Morocco
The rest of the summer in London
what happens in September?
The poster was wrong.
They appear to be filming in London first.
They are filming at the Atlas Studios in Morrocco and the sets are not built yet, so it's doubtful they'll be starting there.
They'll probably move the production to Morrocco in September. What I have heard is that they are filming there for five to six weeks, but that could be wrong.
Twitter, you've posted variations on the same sentence about a dozen times over the past week. Enough already. I'm sure there are blogs devoted solely to waxing if you need to delve further.
I wasn't meaning anything wrong, I'm sorry
I meant no harm I just wanted to talk
I swear I never meant any harm
It's okay, twitter. Just try not to post the same thing over and over. No need to apologize constantly :)
No new pics, but a new post, finally :)
