Were you, like me, wondering why Jake was staring so intently at those carrots at the Ojai farmers' market? Did you think he was planning some big vat of chicken - oops - soup?
Take a little listen and think again...
Goats...on...the...roof!
I think someone should have bought them this great old game for Christmas.

On a more serious note, we want to wish everyone a healthy and happy new year, god knows we all need a bit of happy in 2009. We'll have a new administration in a few weeks and (hopefully) TWO new Jake movies to look forward to!
In light of the tough year we're leaving behind (the economy, illnesses, deaths) we were humbled each and every day people took time out of their own lives to stop by the blog for a chat, a chuckle and to catch up.
Happy New Year everyone! Hope you're able to share it with someone you love! Or like a lot.
Let's talk about Jake!

Signs of the Zodiac
Robert Downey Jr. paid a visit to Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon in Ojai over the weekend. Hiking and coffee were on the menu. So cool to see Jake and RDJ together and to see Atticus along for the fun!

You Wear It Well
...A little old fashioned, but that's all right.
Jake Gyllenhaal proving that it's never too late to jump on the fedora-wearing hipster bandwagon while out Christmas shopping with Reese Witherspoon.
These and many more can be found at the Temple of the Gyllenhaal.
P.S. Thanks once again, Britain, for returning Jake to America.

Dinner for 2(8)
Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon out for a romantic dinner - unless you count the paps - to celebrate Jake's 28th birthday. The pair dined at Il Ristorante di Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica.
So the hair is cut, but it looks like Jake still can't get a handle on it.
More Jake in LA - out shopping, then leaving lunch (he ate w/Reese and Deacon at the ultimate CZ restaurant, Pizzeria Mozza):
