Running man

It's a working vacation for Jake Gyllenhaal, on the run from Santa Monica to Brentwood. Let's hope the producers of Nailed have also been working this weekend, getting the money situation resolved once and for all!

Love the Jake smirk in the first ones. Looking good!

Happy Memorial Day!

That trainer is way too skinny!

Reposting from the previous thread: There's a poll on the Us home page on which couple you'd prefer to spend Memorial Day with.

Jake and Reese are currently in the lead.

Hello, I am a fitness expert

I recommend after all Jakes running and training, fully nude body massage with hot oils

Please, UV...... How about a photographic retrospective of the Gyllensmirk over the years? I think it is a worthy subject for a post, and it has not been properly documented in Jake World yet! And who better to rectify that sorry situation than the brilliant GyllenBabble? :)

Can this man get any hotter.

Looking good indeed, And yes that trainer is way too skinny!

Love all the pictures of them over the weekend, thanks for the link to the US poll, running over to vote right now.

Happy Memorial day everyone.

Click Me!

Somebody posted a manip of Jake as the Prince of Persia on IMDB. I just morphed them together with the earlier poster.

What do you guys think?

Are these picsof J&R recent? I think it says may 26, it's a French site:

Ha! Well done, Bette. Love it!

I'm hoping Stephanie can get those pics of Jake and Reese at Caffe Luxxe - I can't extract them from that blog for anything! Grrr.

Bette - terrific!

I snagged these:

One
Two
Three

At least it's something until we get the larger versions. I'm sure Steph will have them later.

Thanks for the pics bette.

Just a sighting from someone on ONTD.

"my bf's sister sat at a table next to them last week at the Brentwood country mart. Said they seemed really relaxed and sweet. Said Jake is gorgeous in real life (and before she never thought he was cute before) but Reese looks like a 16 year old."

Thanks Bette! They don't look to pleased about spotting the paps though. Love the Jake as POP, very well done!

Speaking of paps, has flynetonline gone kaput? They haven't updated since 5/9!

I just looked at it closely and realized I didn't blend it enough, I should have taken off the edges of the manip, but you guys get the idea anyway.

Thanks! Love the PoP manip!...except...The Hair...Noooooooo!

Love the POP manip, thanks so much bette and thanks for the new J/R pics too!!

Jake looks yummy in the jogging pics but I agree, the trainer is way too thin!

Bette, I love the PoP manip. And thanks for making the new J/R pics clickable. I was out and on my iPhone and couldn't get the other link.

But thanks to the picture-finding anon who posted the link initially. They look good.

And thanks for the ONTD sighting. I told myself I wasn't going to read that post, so I would have missed that one!

Hope everyone is enjoying the end of the weekend. It was a gorgeous day here.

Thanks for all the links and pictures, it's keeping my mind of the Mets who are unraveling on the field yet again, sigh.

Love the Prince of Persia manip!

PS: We are seriously getting spoiled with all these pics and sightings!

RIP

Sydney Pollack, Film Director, Is Dead at 73

Sydney Pollack, a Hollywood mainstay as director, producer
and sometime actor whose star-laden movies like "The Way We
Were," "Tootsie" and "Out of Africa" were among the most
successful of the 1970s and '80s, died on Monday evening at
his home in Los Angeles. He was 73.

Oh, I am so sorry to hear of S. Pollock's passing..... what a loss! I vividly remember the first time I saw "They Shoot Horses, Don't They?". A great and powerful film..... and OMG, that ending was devastating.

I liked him so much as a director and an actor. I am so sad that he is gone.....

Bette said...

Oh no Sydney died? Holy shit. :(

I was just coming over here to mention Steph got the pics up of Reese and Jake, and then I see that news. That's so sad. He made some of the greatest films ever. Out of Africa is such a beautiful film.

UltraViolet said...

Oh, man, that is so sad. I loved Sydney Pollack. Love him for making Tootsie and for his hilarious turn in it as Dustin's agent. "I begged you to get help..." I can recite a lot of lines from that movie, and the mime push at the end is one of my favorite movie moments!

Loved Out of Africa, too. Sigh.

Here's Pollack's IMDb page, FYI.

Oh, and suvee, I did see your smirk request - it's a great idea. We'll have to do some research to get the best pics :)
