Those are tasty

Refreshing the post with some refreshing, sleeveless Jake:

Last month, if you remember, Jake was at the Manual Arts High School in Los Angeles to speak about Global Green USA.

Refresher pic.

Watch Jake and Matt Petersen speak about gardening in a massive city like Los Angeles.

Tantalizing Uncle Jake Gyllenhaal.

Thanks so much for the new pics and the video! I love seeing Jake with Ramona, and I love the look on Maggie's face! They're adorable.

This is a day for tasty treats! Hee.

I wondered why JustJared was posting old photos - not that one needs an excuse to post Jake. Then I saw the video. Earnest, committed, earthy Jake.

His "farmer friends" would be proud!

It's not often we get to hear Jake utter words like "tasty" or making grunting noises while doing manual labor. For that alone this video is priceless. :-)

And the Ellen love continues. There's a teaser for tomorrow's episode on her site. She asks Reese how she celebrated her birthday and if she spent it with "this guy right here," then shows the Laker pics on screen. Including the kiss :)

I was wondering about Sass as well, I hope all is well. Give us a shout out Sass and Monica!

And if those 2 things weren't enough to totally entrance me, he gives us a little tongue at the end! And couldn't help but notice that he still likes the word, "massive". :)

After a rather crappy day (attended the funeral of a friend's mother)...... you can't imagine how nice it was to come home to these new pics of Uncle Jake and Ramona.

I am so looking forward to seeing Reese on Ellen. Loved that spoiler, UV.

Great post, FL! Thanks!

Thank for posting the Green video, Jake sounds really excited about the program which is wonderful. Still squeeing over the picturs from yesterday of Jake and Ramona!

I see that it's the return of the table cloth ahirt in the pictures from yesterday!

Don't forget to waech Ellen today!

Thank you for the video and love the pics of Jake with Maggie and Romana.

BTW UV/FL I cannot get the comments up on IE, have to go to the blog archive.

When I looked at the full set of pictures of Jake on IHJ on that day he was miked. I figured he was filming a PSA. The Green iniciative is very important and i'm glad Jake is involved, thanks for posting the video.

Last week, 60 Minutes had an interview with Alice Walters a chef that Jake is a big fan of and knows . She spoke about locally grown and oraganic food so i'm sure he knows ehat he is talking about!

Don't forget the Ellen show today and to pick up the current issue of Us!

That video is fantastic. To hear Jake and his sexy voice talking about a really important cause that he seems so invested in is wonderful.

Thanks for the adorable Ellen clip. Love that she slips Jake into Reese's interview. ;)

Nice new pics too. Still squeeing over Jake and Ramona.

We sure have been spoiled. Makes a great start to the weekend! :D

It is great to hear Jake's sexy voice on that video, we have been spoiled the last few day! Speaking of chef's, Jake's friend Chris was in Ojai, CA last weekend for a fundraiser according to his blog. I wonder if he catered Reese's b'day???

I love the image of farmer Jake! I bet he gets a lot of practice on the farm. He sounds really passionate about it. The First lady is involved in this initiative as well with the planting of a garden at the WH.

Always good to see new pics of Jake but he looks just a tad annoyed in the latest, can't blame him.

Uv, I'm fine. I'm working on a project on Comparative Literature.

Our Jake is each day more beautiful, sexy and adorable!
I'm so proud to see Jake working on projects on the environment.

Earlier this year, I attended the World Social Forum with the theme on the environment.
I participated as a photographer, but at the same time I learned many things about the preservation of our planet.

The photos with Ramona is so sweet. She is a beautiful girl and each day more similar to Peter.

Thanks for all links and pictures!

Added a couple of the new pics to the post.

Also, Reese was completely adorable on Ellen! I have to watch again to do a good recap, but Reese made a nice double entendre about how Jake/her birthday mean was delicious. Can anyone else explain it?

She was basically vamping about what she did on her birthday, because the show was taped before the big day.

UltraViolet said...

Monica - hello! So glad you dropped in. And I agree with your assessment of Jake completely :)

Good luck with your work/studies!

She was basically vamping about what she did on her birthday, because the show was taped before the big day.

Thanks for confirming that, UV. I was soooo confused when she was talking about celebrating her bd!
She was adorable.....every time I see her interviewed I always really like her.

SPOILER ALERT!!!!
*
*
*
*
*
Even though she was vamping when describing her bd, did you catch her answer when Ellen asked "did you celebrate it with this guy?" (photo of Jake in the background)? She automatically said, "Of course, always". That got my attention! :)

Her "delicious" answer was to Ellen's question about what she ate at her bd dinner...... but she timed her answer to coincide with the Lakers Kiss photo being shown. Pretty funny!

Great new pics. He really does do justice to sleeveless tee's, doesn't he?

bobbyanna said...

I thoroughly enjoyed Reese and Ellen. Only Ellen could get away with the teasing. It was really cute. I caught the "delicious" and the "always" comments, too. I love it that Reese just owns it. No awkwardness. Not embarrassed or secretive. She's in love and she's really happy and Ellen is clearly happy for them.

Thanks for the new pictures. I love him sleeveless...topless is even better.:)

Also, Reese's Ellen interview. That's part one. The second part, the MadLibs, is up on Ellen's site and youtube, I think.

Thanks for posting the Ellen interview UV!!

It was a bit confusing because the segment was pre-taped but I loved when Reese said always when Ellen asked did Jake spend her b'day with her. I remember the sighting in March 2007on her b'day so this would be the 3rd time.

Reese is adorable and funny in that interview.

Love Jake in the Green initiative video, what a wonderful cause to be involved in and i just love listening to him.

Jake looks real happy in the jogging pics, he must be happy that Reese is done with MVA PR, hope they are having some quiet time together.

Well I'm homebound tonight..... we got a big snow today. When the pear and tulip tress start blooming here, we almost always get one last blast of winter.

Anyway, I was checking out the edibleisland blog, and something jumped out at me. Did anyone else happen to notice the credit for the beautiful photo of the artichoke (March 2009)? Sorry to be cryptic, but this really isn't about Jake per se.

chica said...

Yes I noticed too Suvee!

The blog is interesting, a lot of "interesting" dishes he cooks up! I also thought that the house where he had the fundraiser at last weekend looked familiar but then I realized that a lot of homes in Ojai look similar.

bobbyanna said...

I noticed the "photographs" when I visited the edibleislandblog, too! :) I also reacted to the setting, just at first, but then decided it was probably somewhere more public and accessible. I cannot get past some of those recipes. Squirrel? Hunting? Skinning a deer? I'll stick to asparagus recipes. :) (We have a river within walking distance of my house. Used to be a LOT more Canadian geese, and some ducks around last year then there are now...)

Looking at the latest pictures of Reese, first, I can't even imagine how nerve-wracking it must be to try do the simplest things like walk to your car, get in it, and back out of a parking place! All while having a swarm of paparrazzi calling out stupid, offensive crap.

I'd have been arrested for assault by now...and I'm shorter then Reese! I don't necessarily buy their story either. They always embellish stuff and try to make more of it then it is.

UltraViolet said...

I feel bad for Reese. I read one of her interviews where she talks about hating the gym and about the annoyance of the paps. In yesterday's pics, she was in her gym clothes and the paps were clearly bugging her. I'm surprised she doesn't "snap" more often.

That said, who even knows what the real story is. We know how the last Bonnie and Clyde misadventure was distorted!

In other news, Trouble on the Pop Set?

(Iffy translation ahead)

Interview with Second Director Alexander Witt

Nothing, not even his 20 years of experience in Hollywood, prepared him for the social problems he lived in this Disney film, directed by Mike Newell.

"Actually, I don't have the best memories about that movie," Witt confesses by phone, from London. "The big problem was that, not even the director knew which movie were we making."

"Mike Newell didn't have a good relationship with the producers, and the script was rewritten while filming. This made us change even the scenes that were my responsibility," he remembers.

"Sometimes Jake (Gyllenhaal) preferred to work with me. He and Mike didn't get along well, and on some occasions, they even yelled at each other.

"...My relationship with Mike was very nice, he was very honest with me. He said: 'I don´t know anything about action, so you have to help me with everything about that.' And so I did."

Things that make you go hmm...

This guy has a lot of experience with Jerry Bruckheimer (POTC, Rememer the Titans) and in big action movies. So it's interesting that he'd feel free to speak out in this way.

Are they throwing Mike Newell under the bus or is it just a case of a candid interview? And is it just typical big movie conflict or something more?

I guess time will tell. Let's hope it's all part of some cunninglong-term strategy. Or strategery?

The white shirt is back !

office of nancy pelosi said...

I feel bad for Reese too, i can't imagine going to the gym and doing errands, etc. and having cameras in your face.

I did noticed that both Jake and Reese were wearing fedora's yesterday, her's was white. And she was wearing pre-ripped jeans and Jake's jean's well, are naturally worn and has that hole. I also noticed that they kind of dressed alike in the Friday pics, similar color shorts and sneaks, I know I need to get a life!!

One thing though I think they are getting fed-up with the paps. The Friday pics Reese was clearly not amused and Jake although smiling and joking turned his back.

Yesterday you have Reese snapping at the paps and in the pics of him shopping in Brentwood, although he isn't snapping at them, after a few shots of him which look like a smirk, he turns his head away or down in most of the pics.

Just some observations.

I need to check out Chris' blog!

That story is a bit troubling UV. I clicked on the link and some posters said that he had the same problems with POTC. I just hope that it's just the normal stuf that goes on with big budget films.

bobbyanna said...

Ever since Jake finished PoP, barely a day passes when they aren't photographed. That has to wear on them. I think they have a higher "get" profile then they used to.

Unsettling news about PoP. When people start dumping on a director before a movie finishes post production, that's not a good sign. Hope these are isolated comments.

lulu said...

About the POP interview I have doubt.
The sources are weird,it's from a chilian newspaper which would have got this by phone call ?????

Anonymous said...

I would think very few movies are made that don't have their problems. It's not easy to make a movie of any type.
"Jaws" is an example of how pretty much everyone on it thought they were making a terrible movie. Didn't think the director knew what he was doing. "Casablanca" hardly ever had a script.
Star Wars - they weren't even sure if it would make it to the theaters.
As for POP I can't imagine Jerry B. being very happy with the interview. IF it is a correct interview.
If the director wasn't doing a good job and they know it from early on they have been known to be replaced. Jerry is a smart guy he could of done it.
They're still working on it.
The cast & crew loved Jake.
I bet it's going to be O.K.

bobbyanna said...

Thanks, anon, and lulu. You make good points.

lulu, it makes sense when you read it in the context that Alexander Witt is himself Chilean. :)

It's interesting that Witt has decided at this point in time to not hold anything back in that interview and as UV said earlier, "things that make you hmmmm..."

Perhaps I should have included a pic of Alexander Witt in my previous Jerry's Boys post. ;-)

There are new pics of Jake up on IHJ from yesterday shopping in BH. I don't like these pics because they are taken with a long lense in the store and he looks pissed. It almost looks like they stalked him from BH to Brentwood or the other way around.

With all the shoe/sneaker buying yesterday and Reese out shopping, I hope they are planning to go awy on a vacation.

suvee said...

Thought I would pass this along...... I've decided to interpret this as good news for us seeing Nailed in theaters this year.

(From the LA Times) David O. Russell is on board to direct The Silver Linings Playbook for the Weinsteins. He is also adapting the screenplay from the novel. I can only assume this means that he is pretty much finished with Nailed, and has moved on.

The PoP news is a little unsettling..... can't say it reassures me to hear M. Newell say that he "doesn't know anything about action". That can't be good.

extra said...

Thanks suvee, I hope that means that we will see Nailed real soon.

Don't know what to make of the comments from Mr. Witt, like others have said conflicts between Directors and actors are common, especially on big budget flicks, but he does seem to be throwing Newell under the bus.

I don't like the new pics of Jake either, from Friday (the Jake and Reese pics in Brentwood) and the sets of Jake and Reese seperately shopping yesterday do bother me.

You're welcome, extra! Like you, I've also been enjoying the new UsWeekly!

FL said...

Jake has the same look on his face as I do when I've just tried on a pair of shoes and walk around a bit in them to see how they feel. :)

Anonymous said...

Read somewhere an actress always tried to wear the same thing when she was out on a number of days thinking "they" would not take so many pictures. Possibly Jake & Reese work with the heads down or trying to keep the same look.
Again, this is only taking up a little bit of their time each day but anyone would be annoyed and most of the time we don't know what is being said to them. As if J&R would tell them anything.
Also, it's a bit tricky when you have a car & people are standing near it. Paps like to exaggerate as said & want folks to believe they are the wronged in any situation, in case anyone would believe them.
Still will use anon. but will sign

agent_krycek said...

I think that was Jen Anniston Annie

Anonymous said...

If you noticed, Jake and Reese walk apart in the jogging pictures, so they get him, but she's in the car. They shopped apart, too.

The strategy's to ruin the shots. Putting your head down to obscure your face, hats, big sun glasses, same clothes, same colors, to confuse dates, etc. I think it was Brad Pitt who gave away the same clothes info. These photographers are impossible to ignore. It's deliberate. They get mileage ($$$) out of provoking people. Things should quiet down now M/A is out. If Nailed or Brothers is in the pipeline it'll heat up.

I don't want to think about what's going to happen with PoP. Jake and Reese will have to change their personal routines if it becomes so bothersome.

Happier times

Out at dinner in a cozy little Parisian bistro Peterelle, we were enjoying the delicious food and the wonderful company in this tiny six table setting. Soon enough, this petite blonde bundled up in a wool skirt, a peacoat, and boots strolls in with a tall man wearing jeans, a lumberjack shirt and a fedora. Now- these two look familiar. It is indeed the Oscar winning actress Reese Witherspoon and her beau of two years Jake Gyllenhaal. Sitting at the table next to us, they looked smitten with each other as they spoke throughout the meal, with Reese regularly throwing back her head in giggles. Sweet and subdued, she accepted we take a photograph of her, as Jake picked up a meringue from the large wooden bowl before they got lost together strolling in the wonderful city that is Paris.

Pretty sure this is one of the restaurants Jake's "farmer friend" recommended highly.

I wouldn't worry so much about the comments from that director, if there were any real problems with Mike Newell, I'm sure Bruckheimer wouldhave had him replaced.

A bit more about Nailed from Jef Wells:

Seigel rotely mentions Russell's Nailed, the Jessica Biel-Jake Gyllenhaal dramedy which had a notoriously troubled stop-and-start shoot due to Capitol Films' shakey financial footing. But she doesn't even hint when the film may be seen, either at a festival or through distribution or whatever. Isn't that the pressing issue as we speak? I'm hoping to hear it'll play in Cannes. Wouldn't that make sense.

[Laughs] You're not treated like a star, let's just say. Even for me, who's never even been a star, I felt like I was being treated like an extra with a criminal record.

It would be a real hoot if Reese or other actors appeared AR! I bet Mike was one of the guests at Reese's party on 3/21. The pictues of Jake and Mike were on the 25th I think, she was in NY then but Mike and Jake were in Brentwood, I know that they could have been in touch all this time, but the timing of it may be think that.

I also think that maybe with all of Reese's projects listed on IMDB pro, that she and Mike may be working on something and hopefully Jake as well!

Is that Naomi? I wasn't sure at first. Are we sure that isn't Reese's place in Ojai? I know homes there look similar but I don't know now. Remember the pics that appeared online and print was what the house looked like when K. Ireland had it on the market, Reese could have had some work done including getting new roofing, which IMO is the only thing that looks different.

If not her's, then I assume some one involved in the fundraiser that weekend. Also you know Chris was at that party on Saturday as well!

agent_krycek said...

I'm 99.9% certain that is Reese's place, the tree gives it away

Chris's food looks gorgeous, makes my soon to be eaten packed salad lunch look very shabby

Also her place has 2 detached guest cottages which I would assume has a kitchen, I think Chris stayed in one. Either she has new roofs installed or the cottages have different roofs than the main house.

office of nancy pelosi said...

You're right, looks like Naomi but it's not her.

AK I agree, i'm pretty sure now looking at it again that it's Reese's place and as Extra has pointed out, most likely one of the detached guest cottages. The guests were chefs probably and other movers and shakers in the Ojai/L.A. food community.

Just a point of clarification - the Ojai event was sponsored by an Ojai resident and former RSFP alumni, whose home was also used for the event and whose name is not Reese Witherspoon. :-)

I'm not saying a thing, but hey Reese looks good. I love that they are both wearing fedoras now.

She looks the same to me.

These pictures are from Saturday, I love her in the fedora and think it's cool that they are both wearing them!

My Alice Waters connection: I once knew a woman who helped run a dance company. Her name was Ellen and she was Alice Waters' sister. I worked with Ellen's husband, Bob, at the time and he kept talking about his sister-in-law who was opening a restaurant. It had a funny French name and since it was out in San Francisco, I never bothered about it!LOL!

This is a little OT but I noticed some of the girls were saying they were surprised that reese was in NYC for such a short period of time, and that it had something to do with ryan working on his next film. I can tell you for a fact that had nothing to do with anything.

Celebrities get booked on various talk shows 3 to 4 weeks in advance. Keep in mind her costars did a lot of press in NY (Seth, Hugh and Kiefer). Reese did a lot of promotion in LA as well as Europe. The only reason why she spent more time in NY last year was because she was the only one doing any promotion for 4c's vince didn't help at all.

Reese didn't run back to accomidate ryan, this was planned weeks in adavance.

agent_krycek said...

Reese looks lovely, and with 2 upcoming projects, I doubt it, however much I may squee over the thought.

chica said...

Thanks insider, I figured that was the case. They knew the their schedules way in advance and Reese did have help promoting this movie unlike with 4C. MVA made 59million at the BO! I plan on seeing it Friday.

Love your story about Alice Waters bobbyanna! Waters has been getting some hits lately, some calling her ideas elitist. Since when is it elitist to promote healthy eating?

I know Jake is a fan of hers, mentioned once that she was his favorite chef and I remember a sighting of Jake ans Walters a few years ago.

I'd like to imagine that Farmers Jake and Reese are on the farm right now!

Insider, I love it when you pop in! I'd almost rather hear charming anecdotes and stories then see intrusive photos.

UltraViolet said...

Imagine that - anonymous praise for the "Insider." Though I love it when s/he pops in, too. What "girl" doesn't enjoy hearing common knowledge presented as pearls of wisdom?

UltraViolet said...

Not sure how many of you read Jeffrey Wells/Hollywood Elsewhere. He's good for Brothers info, has it in for Jake and is generally a miserable SOB.

He wrote a hilarious post about his experience at Sant Ambreous. It's one of Jake's favorite old CZ places. I bet they'd let him eat leftover cake even after he'd paid!

The comments are really the best part of this - a thoroughly enjoyable takedown of Wells' absurd feelings of entitlement.

bobbyanna said...

Thanks for the link, UV. The comments were delightful. Fun crowd! Love that expression "low thread count," too. I'm planning a visit to NYC soon, so I will definitely try to get to 4th and Perry. :)

(I did find the Slyvia Plath reference, and the pink shirt with tie, remark funny.)

UltraViolet said...

Oh, Wells can be funny. But he can also be a sexist, classist pig. So it's fun to see him skewered and roasted.

office of nancy pelosi said...

Ha, ha!! I have to admit I run hot and cold regarding Mr. Wells. Like you sadi UV, he does have some useful information (he seems to be the only one that gets ANY information regarding Brothers) but I find him annoying and pretentious and full of himself a lot of times. Love the comments!

Either this is an April's fool joke or this photographer has loose lips:

http://luckyphotography.com/blog/

A wedding in Ojai? sounds like they have been reading this blog and the rags.

PS:I checked and Leslie Sloane-Zelnik is a publist for Reese, but I would think that antone involved would be told to keep their mouths shut.

i will no longer be watching that blog! said...

Just as I suspected,an April fools joke! Read the comments from Tiffany on the blog, adding the publist name was a good idea though, LOL!!!

PS; I'msure they got a lot of hits and that was the point.

gabbana said...

Wells is getting credit from me because he is indeed the only one with some informtion on "Brothers" and he has the film on his Oscar Ballon list. But otherwise he is so humourless sometimes.....more like a child than a grown up man.

Haha, the april jokes.....love some but the most are boring...

agent_krycek said...

Did the fact that the staff were clearing up and trying to close for the night completely bypass him - service was over and they wanted him to leave - what an odd chap.

I'm guessing they're at the farm for the week, lucky people, it must be lovely to have somewhere they can bascially disappear to with the amount of pap hassel they get.

Seems strange sitting in London and not protesting about something, I feel I should, but am far too lazy

Bette said...

As somebody who works in a restaurant. I have to say nothing annoys me more then somebody hanging out close to or past closing time. Because of course we are not allowed to tell them to take a hike, specially not at the upscale restaurant I work at. But damn I wish we could. As far as the cake goes, I have no idea how we would handle that because I've never seen it and believe me I've seen some classless slobs come in to the place I work at, I imagine it would depend on the server. But I'm guessing we might just give them some plastic forks and let them chill out for a bit so they'd leave eventually. And you guys have no idea how many times I had to edit this comment for swear words. That hanging out close to the end of somebody's shift when all we want to do is get home, we are exhausted, usually from a frantic night and for some dbag to hang around? That is just uncool. I hope he tipped his server well at least.

As some one who has eat more than once at Sant Ambreous, i had a good laugh at his post. Wells is Ok at times but he does come across as whiny and self entitled at times. There were a few April fool stuff floating around the net yesterday, one turned out not to be an April's fool joke: The leaked Wolverine footage! From what I saw it looked lame but that was becasue there was no soundtrack or special effects.

chica said...

PS: I noticed that Wells removed Brothers from his Oscar Balloon post and just has Sheridan listed as best Director.

This sighting must have been either 3/15 or 3/16 since bothe Jake and Reese were in the US last week! From this weeks Star:

Last week Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal annoyed their fellow diners in Paris by making out like teenagers at a restaurant and feeding each other pieces mousse.

From IMDB regarding the comments from the 2nd unit Director Witt on Pop:

"I don't think those comments are very relevant to the quality of the film. If you want something to support your unfounded opinions that this movie is gonna be bad, find something better. I've been watching footage from it and it looks really good. From what i've seen, it has great potential. And Jake is doing a great job!

Jeff Wells can be very annoying, self absorbed and whiny. I do think he has good sources and movie coverage and that is why I do read him on occasion.

Having been to Sant Ambreous a few times, he is the one that was clearly rude. As AK said it was the end of the night and they were clearing up. He seemed oblivious to that.

AK, I have been excitedly watching all the coverage of the Obama's in the UK. They make me so proud. :D

Back on topic, thanks to everyone as always for the great links and J&R info. I do like hearing that more positive news on POP, imdb, thanks.

The item in Star isn't new. It's making the rounds. I think Jake makes Reese feel very sexy. You can tell just by the clothes and the hairstyles since they've been dating. I've seen a big change in her behavior, too.

Update on Wolverinegate that I mentioned in my previous comments:

http://www.deadlinehollywooddaily.com/and-it-makes-you-age-20-years-overnight/#comments

I have to say that it couldn't have happen to a more deserving studio: I despise Fox, Rupert and everything associated it with them. The buzz from the unfinished leak has been mixed on the net but a lot of it is negative.

Wells is rude get real among other things!

The Obama's are making me proud too. No longer do I have to cringe in embarrassment everytime our President opens his mouth or makes an appearence on the world stage, what a refreshing change.

PS: AK, it looks like Michelle didn't follow protocal and touched the Queen!!! Ah, give her a break, the Queen is cute and she couldn't help it, she is also seems to be shrinking!

PSS: I loke hearing that positive news as well on Pop, thanks imdb. The Paris story is from when they were over there obviously, it reminds me a bit of that blogger that saw them in a cafe in Paris when they were there, I love reading stuff like that about them!

I'm really proud of our President and First Lady, too. I was especially impressed with the way the President handled the news conference with Prime Minister Brown. (He spoke in complete sentences, he thought before he answered, and he used big words.)

At the reception they held, he greeted the Saudis in Arabic. Also saw pics of him joking around with the PM from Italy. He seemed to get along well with the Russians and the Chinese, too.

I want to also acknowledge the hard work done by his Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, so that things at the G20 Conference would go smoothly. She had to navigate some mine fields to lay the groundwork for our participation. She's so obviously the perfect choice for that job.

I've just read an account of QE2 and Michelle Obama that has a little different take. Buckingham Palace said "they bonded" in an "unusual and spontaneous" hug. The Queen started it, hugging Michelle who then hugged back. :)

I think Jake and Reese make a very sexy couple. I agree, Reese seems more relaxed(?) and more open about her feelings in general.

Poor Deacon. Green soy beans? OK. Maybe he loves them. He sure seems to love being with Jake! :)

Does anyone think This means that Jake was with Reese from the beginning in Europe?.

Well it's hard to tell from that interview. First of all it is the Sun, a trashy tabloid I thought or am I confusing that with the Daily Mirror?

Also it seems to be a combination of new and old, she may have done a phone interview so it'a hard to say where she was when she did the interview:London? Madrid?Rome?

Also she has been so tight-lipped when it comes to talking about Jake (only Ellen seems to get her to and even than it in a jokey manner).

It's assumed that he joined he while in Madrid and Us picked up the same but that could have been just them going by the pictures. If he was in Berlin and London than he must have been hiding in the hotels? But I did notice that Keifer's GF didn't appear until Rome, now either both she and Jake decided to join them later or maybe Dreamworks didn't want the "distraction" in the beginning of the PR and they kept a low profile in Germany and London.

Madrid, Rome and Paris all became blurred into one with so many pics that it was hard to keep track of what city they were in.

If I saw Jake and Reese making out like teenagers and feeding each other mousse, I wouldn't be annoyed. At all.

Well it's hard to tell from that interview. First of all it is the Sun, a trashy tabloid I thought or am I confusing that with the Daily Mirror?

Both are completely trashy tabloids, both as completely unreliable as the other, as a quick guide, Rupert Murdoch owns The Sun - nuff said, and Piers Morgan was editor of the Mirror who printed the fake torture photographs a few years ago (not saying extremely dodgy stuff wasn't going on, but not in those photos).

Anyhoo, Queenie isn't that short, *AK pleads* (same height as me BTW, but I've a 6'4 brother so anyone under 7' comes across as a bit short to me), but both Obama and Michelle have come over brilliantly, I doubt the Queen minded the hug at all, it was rather lovely and Michelle seems to have bonded big time with Sarah Brown, (PM Gordon's wife) plus we've had lovely weather since they've been here and 75 million hellicopers went over my house the other day to pick him up from Stanstead Airport (may have over estimated) so we love him anyway =D (can he stay and we might just get a decent summer this side of the pond!)

OT: MSNBC has a truly wonderful video clip of Michelle Obama's appearance today at a girls' school in North London...... it was incredible to see how those young girls reacted to her.

If that UsWeekly sighting is true, can I just say I am seriously impressed that Deacon was eating edamame....... it's not exactly the standard fare for the typical 5 year old American boy. Must be Farmer Jake's good influence! :)

Why yes, those arms do look tasty ;)

I can't imagine choosing Carrie over Jake. Ever!

Ick, me either. To be fair though, SATC has a pretty strong following. I imagine PoP will be the big summer success either way. Jake Gyllenhaal in action is always something worth seeing. And all the recent Reese makes me excited about seeing a lot of Jake during PoP promotion.

...Is it wrong that I want a tiny Jake/Dastan action figure?

josie said...

I saw that on MSNBC as well suvee, love the video clip and I love Michelle Obama.

I must be one of the few women who hates SATC , always did.

office of nancy pelosi said...

I didn't see SATC1 and have no desire to see SATC2.I watched the first season of the show and was bored to tears.

Pop will have a totally different audience so I don't see this as being a big deal.

I'm so proud of our President and our first Lady, I get goosebumps watching the coverage of them in Europe.

suvee said...

I've seen maybe 2 or 3 episodes of SATC...... it's appeal is totally lost on me. Nice to know I'm not alone! :)

I would think PoP will be the B.O. winner that weekend.

add me to the list i dont like satc either ill take jake any day

This is why I love Gyllenbabblers! I've seen two episodes. The fascination with SATC is totally lost on me. Haven't seen the movie either!

I think PoP is going to be HUGE. I think they're smart enough not to market it exclusively as a gamer movie. The SATC crowd might want to rethink that date.:)

No contest for what I'll be seeing, but I am bummed PoP is opening against SatC.
