Maggie and Jake Gyllenhaal
The Gyllenhaals were born with Hollywood blood, the children of a director and screenwriter. Maggie first appeared on film in her father's movies, while Jake was only 10 years old when he filmed a role in City Slickers. Since appearing together in the cult hit Donnie Darko, the duo have both enjoyed commercial and critical success.

The Europeans seem to love and respect our President and First Lady. I am bursting with pride that we finally have a President and First Lady that are intelligent, charming and have ideas that most people seem to embrace.
I had a feeling Jake and Reese helped celebrate RDJ's birhtday. They did last year and he attended Reese's b'day. Jake and Reese must be close with Paltrow as well since he co-starred with her in Proof and the 3 celebrated Thanksgiving in London.

The situation in Abruzzo is becoming more and more dreadful. On reliable government authority number of evacuees nearing 70000 but it's far from a real estimate.
I'm so sad...too many children among dead...too many hystories of desperation and loss...and pillages...but also histories of courage and generosity...I'm proud of this people.
Our western technology ... our western modernisation can't really help us to afford this sudden catastrophic events: we are indeed totally unprepared...

I'm a big fan of Robert and I'm so happy that he cleaned up his act, what talent. Would love to see him and Jake do another film together, there is talk about Reese and Robert doing a Sci-fi film together.

First, I want to let our Italian friends know that they are in my thoughts and prayers.... such a tragedy! And I hope Rosa is okay.
Now for something much more mundane and certainly more trivial....
The company I work for has licensing agreements with a lot of the big players..... Warner Bros., Disney, Marvel Comics, etc. Anyway, I was talking with an Art Director friend today at work, and in her hand she had a printout of the upcoming 2010 movies we might be designing product for. Lo and behold...... along with Iron Man II, there was PoP (the visual was the movie poster, lettering only, no Jake).
Have to admit I got a little excited. I'm not sure how much PoP product, if any, we will be doing. But I'm definitely going to have my friends let me know if and when the PoP style guide arrives. I'm assuming it will have photographic art, which I would really enjoy seeing. :)
Clearly, I need to stay on top of this development. Luckily, I have several friends in the Licensing department that will let me sneak a peek. I won't be able to share the actual photos (that's the kind of thing we get fired for!), but I can pass on my descriptions.
Needless to day, this was pretty much the highight of my work day!
Wow, suvee. That is exciting! Don't do anything that will get you fired, but we look forward to hearing any scoop!

Hi Monica! I liked Proof. I didn't even mind Gwyneth. I think her character is supposed to be annoying. There are other actresses I think I'd rather see Jake with, but I guess we'll have to see!
