Promotional overdrive

Nightcrawler promotion going nonstop, with appearances on Ellen, Fallon, Queen Latifah and Conan. Anyone searching for Jake on twitter or google has probably seen these clips, but you can watch Ellen scare Jake and Jimmy taunt Jake:

Stephanie, of course, has the Queen Latifah clips.

Conan: Jake's Halloween costume trauma:

Here's an assortment of video goodies that would bore Lou Bloom. Not enough blood. Though they are mostly about him, so perhaps he'd enjoy them...

Left, right and center

IHJ posted the photos from Jake Gyllenhaal's video shoot, and we got a lot of gorgeous profile shots.

And the full frontal deserves another look:

This candid from the Vanit Fair photo shoot was posted on tumblr, apparently taken from James Franco's online photo collection:

The Shoes. The Glasses. The Smile.

Photos of Jake Gyllenhaal in London filming a music video for The Shoes. The video is apparently for a song called Time To Dance.

Look, mom - no khakis! Good to see Jake stepped slightly out of the CZ wardrobe for the shoot.

There have been lots of twitter reports of Jake attending parties and filming through the snow in London. Hope he's having fun!

Coming soon

At least, we hope so. End of Watch has an official site. No release date, but let's hope this is a step in that direction. (Thanks to Monica for the heads up!)

Jake Gyllenhaal is currently in London shooting a music video for The Shoes, who tweeted a sneak peek of Jake in action. Or inaction.

They also tweeted this picture so things must heat up.

The video is apparently for a song called Time To Dance. I like it.

Jake was spotted at a party Friday night. Don't know if it's personal or professional time:

There's also word that Jake will appear at A Celebration of Paul Newman's Dream, a fundraiser for the Hole in the Wall Camps. Jimmy Fallon, Josh Groban and Trisha Yearwood are also slated to perform. (Last year's participants included Meryl Streep and Stevie Wonder.)

That photo has nothing to do with Paul Newman's charity work before, but I had never seen it before, and I like it.

Blame It on the man

Or blame it on MTV for misinformation. On iTunes for being slow. But the Jake Gyllenhaal, er I mean, Jamie Foxx video is finally here. Like most of Jake's recent screen efforts, there was a delay, but they did make it in time for Wednesday. You can view it on youtube or buy a very nice version on iTunes.

Some caps:

Never enough Jake, but he is looking fine.

(Screencaps by us :) Until Stephanie makes better ones.)

Privacy? Nuts!

Paps spotted Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon on their way to the gym yesterday. Jake either didnt want to be photographed or he was actually going somewhere different from Reese. Not sure there will ever be better pics than these:

The good news: Jake is no longer on crutches! And as you can see in this video, there's not much of a limp, either. But he is, once again, not happy to see the paps.

Randomosity:

Did we know that Jake's character's name in Nailed is Howard Ryder? I'm guessing there's a not-so-subtle word play going on there.

And here's the updated summary:

A small town waitress gets a nail accidentally lodged in her head causing unpredictable behavior that leads her to Washington, DC, where sparks fly when she meets a clueless young senator who takes up her cause - but what happens when love interferes with what you stand for?

An original romantic comedy about a naïve small town waitress who accidentally gets a nail buried in her head, causing erratic and outrageous behavior that leads her to Washington DC. There she falls for a dashing, but clueless, Congressman who searches for the courage to save her.

Dashing is good. Clueless? Not so much.

Even randomer, here's an old Jake interview with some familiar answers and some I don't remember. Like this:

Q: Did you decide to drop out of college?

JG: Yeah. I don't know. I might go back. I went to Columbia. I learned really core modern western thought in two years and what shaped that, and I feel myself very well educated because of it, so whether I graduate and I get the degree - I'm just hoping for one of those honorary degrees.

Hee. Think big, Jake!

Not sure everyone saw that Stephanie posted a few straggle rpics form Cabo the other day. This one is my favorite. And I figured the post needed a pic in which you can see Jake's face.

Thanks to Stephanie/IHJ for the untagged faceless photos :)
