Old Movies
Jake Gyllenhaal has gone back into the Prince of Persia Protection Program, working hard to bring us a future blockbuster. Let's take this opportunity to look at some of Jake's old movies. No, not those ones we've all seen over and over. But some candid movies from times past. We've matched the old photos that might be recognizable to the new/old video, which might be new to you. In any case, it's always fun to watch Jake in motion.

The LAX video from '05, had no idea that was Chris next to him unless I missed it in the IHJ gallery, good to see him and Boo!!!
PS: Neither Jake nor Chris play basketball that well from these viseos!

Monica, a lot of people think Jake is more of a NYer. Like Chica! :) But I think he has too much of the LA boy in him to ever leave completely.
Oh, and Chica, I don't think you can see Chris in the IHJ pictures.
I love the part of the beach video where Jake just stands there, allowing Atticus and Boo (Boo!) to gaze at him adoringly. Boo, of course, tires quickly of that and runs off, but Atticus is stalwart.
And I love the finger wave at LAX. It's just fun seeing Jake and Chris together.
What a nice treat.... I've never seen any of those videos before. I love watching those boys shooting hoops in NYC. 2006 sure was a very good Jake viewing year, wasn't it?

Although I utterly refuse to buy that steaming pile of phoo that is 'heat' I'll pop into the shop at lunch time and find the sighting and report back.

So if both sigthings are correct and they seem to be back to back in the same area then can we conclude that she is in London now and that photo on the US weekly site is probably not recent? Or are both sightings from September?
I don't get the desire for Mayfair because from what I know about the area, it's not really private, no matter how much security Jake and Reese are looking for, probably more secure than the 1st place in NH, but Mayfair, NH and SOHO are in central London, it has to be still a hassle. Wouldn't they be better off somewhere near Pinewood studio? There are lovely places near there although not as interesting as central London and they may be looking at areas where Reese and when the kids visit to have some fun while Jake is working, just a thought.

While I can't speak to the validity of that house shopping in Mayfair gossip item, I'd like to direct your attention to the two properties listed below, both of which fill the criteria for privacy, etc., in Mayfair.

I think this is another of those instances where tabloids cobble together bits and pieces of other gossip items, do a quick MLS search in Mayfair, find these two very private and secure properties in the heart of Mayfair, attach a loudmouth unnamed realtor to the story and bob's your uncle.

Those are two fabulous properties! Wouldn't Disney be paying for Jake to be housed? I'd bet they are. So $70,000 a month is no big deal to The Mouse. Seven bedrooms and two kitchens! The swimming pool in the "somewhat smaller" place is very inviting as well! Gorgeous.
If Jake were just staying in London for several weeks to finish a movie, I was thinking more along the lines of a very nice 2-3 BR apartment. These two properties look more like permanent "family residences."
Those homes are beautiful FL! And yes I would think Disney is paying for Jake's housing while filming.

I loved the videos of Jake; he always seems so relaxed and laid back. It's like he's in no great hurry to get anywhere, which is rather refreshing in this day and age.

"He was throwing this prop key up higher and higher," says an insider. "But on the eighth toss, he didn't catch it and the key slashed his face, an inch under his left eye. Everyone held their breath because he couldn't see for a few moments because of the blood."
An on-set nurse stopped the bleeding, bandaged Jake up and wanted to take him to a nearby London hospital. He declined but must have been more shaken up than he appeared because "he called in sick the next day," adds the insider.
"When he did return to work, the makeup department had a tough time covering it up."
Jake, Jake, Jake! You weren't satisfied until someone got hurt!
Now we know tht scar is real and not make up. Or that Star saw it and made up a story for it!

All kidding aside, if that really happened, it sounds scary! Jake needs to find something else to do to pass the time onset.
I almost had a heart attack when that google alert came up. I was like WTF oh no Jake is hurt! And then I read the whole thing. What scar? Because I just went to go look at the pics, and I didn't see anything. Am I going blind? And I certainly don't see anything on the pics of him out in London.
That other google alert talking about Reese's coat nearly killed me too, because I thought we had a confirmed sighting of her in London with pics.
Oh! Nevermind I see it now. It blends in with the black circles under his eyes.
I know what you mean, Bette. I keep seeing "Reese and Jake" in London headlines and for a minute, I think it's a new item. But it's not!

When all other Hollywood reporters told you Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo broke up, I told you not true. They are still very much together! Now Hollywood reporters say Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon have broken up, and I’m telling you - not true. In fact I wouldn’t be surprised if they get married before the end of the year - maybe by Christmas!

I'm not very optimistic that we will see pics of J & R together in London (or the environs), but....... R. Downey Jr. is in London filming Sherlock Holmes. I would think he and Jake might be able to find some time to hang out together a little. I'd prefer to see some new J & R photos, but I would definitely settle for RDJ and Jake pics.
To continue the FWIW train of thought...... I'm still liking the Ojai December wedding scenario. :)

Are you double clicking on the videos? Because that will start it and then open it in a separate window.
If it's just stopping and starting, I'd say it's probably your connection.
