Jake Gyllenhaal's new career as a Soul Cycle instructor is the hot topic on twitter and the inter webs today. As you can see from this photo with Marcus Mumford, taken at last year's Railroad Revival Tour, Jake likes to get sweaty.
Still no word when the tour documentary will be released, but here's another photo from Jake's traveling days:

I just found this. Further confirmation of Jake in Toronto, except they are saying next month. This gossip blog doesn't look very official. Even if the actual shoot doesn't start until May, pre-production, etc. may very well start next week.

I've never thought 6'1" or even just 6' would be "suprisingly short" - do they think Jake is 6'6 then i guess he would seem shorter than they thought. But then there are people who say he's tall.

And as if that weren't exciting enough, the Ontario Media Development Corporation confirmed Friday that Denis Villeneuve (Incendies) will be filming An Enemy here in Toronto late May. Heartthrob Jake Gyllenhaal whom we met back in May 2010, will be playing a Dual Role in the Thriller based on the Novel, The Double by José Saramago. Gyllenhaal's Character rents a DVD to find his exact Double in the Film, going out on a search to find him which turns both of their lives upside-down. IndieWire was among the first broke the Story back in March that Gyllenhaal was being considered for the Lead Role.

Daniela, it's hard to know if Jake is more than just an actor for this movie. He might be there to help with casting or for some other preproduction work. He does tend to be more involved than most actors in his last few films.
Yes, UV, also he could be needed for head shots, and wardrobe, and also to talk to the director. Maybe the director will want to change Jake's appearance. So maybe his hair will be shorter or he will not have the full beard.

The Brokeback Mountain star was returning to his vehicle after a day of shopping when he saw a law enforcement official standing near a number of parked cars.
A witness tells America's Star magazine, "Jake was shopping in Beverly Hills and noticed a few parking metres were about to expire. And he saw that the parking enforcers were standing right there, waiting to issue tickets when they ran out."
In a bid to save the drivers from a hefty fine, Gyllenhaal reached into his pocket for some spare change and used the coins to stave off the metres from expiration.

UV, the only projects I can see that would follow the FB posting are the plays: "Edwin Drood" a musical, and "Tom Durnin." There's also a "Picnic" revival scheduled for winter 2013.

I've just read that Carrie Mulligan & Marcus Mumford are supposed to be getting married this weekend. Since we haven't had a peep out of JAke all day yesterday, maybe he was travelling?
