Man v. Wild: The GIFt that keeps on giving

The Discovery Channel reran Jake Gyllenhaal's Man v. Wild episode tonight. Thanks to the creative posters on tumblr, we can relive some of the best moments in...

    Funny story about Jake at the Cafe Gratitude in SFO last year:

    This report from a tablehopper reader was so cleverly written that I’m just gonna post it verbatim: “Just had lunch at Cafe Gratitude en la Mission and ~Jake Gyllenhaal~ was there with a small group of people who looked very non-crunchy SF. Everyone was cool in the restaurant till he got up to leave, and then there was a flutter of folks trying to talk to him. Best was the chick in the “Ask me about Slow Sex” shirt who went up to introduce herself and talk about….? Ah, I love San Francisco. He’s so yummy, I know it sounds cashew-cheesy but I hope he ordered the ‘I am beautiful.’” Amen, sister.

    I don't remember that sighting, but it may have been posted.

    I missed the repeat of Man vs Wild last night too:)

    I remember that sighting at Cafe Gratitude in SFO, it was posted here last year and that woman with the t-shirt was smart!

    The Red sox won it in the 16th inning!!

    It's hot as hell here in NY as well, I'm off today so at least I won't be out in that oven today.

    Looking at these gifs and watching the repeat of this episode is sure cooling me off! It is scourching here by me too.

    The repeat was a bit different/edited, I'm glad I got to see it the first time w/o the edits!

    I live the 2nd gif, it's been fun reading and hearing all the great responses from Jake adventures with the Bear!

    What is the point of editing the episode? To add more commercials?

    That stinks Monica, did you ever get to see the whole unedited episode of Jake on SNL?

    the parts that i could tell were the peeing in the snow and the bbm reference so maybe thaey had some somplainsso decided so edit those parts out otherwise no changesthat i noticed

    Jake has the most beautiful smile.
    I checked my Cable guide...TWC EST...MvW on 2 more times. Friday evening, 7/22 @ 8PM and Saturday morning, 7/23 @ 1AM. How great for us.
    UV and fellow babblers, it's wonderful to read compliments for Jake on so many boards. And on some public boards,(JJ), the trolls are chased away. Amazing!

    Source Code began to be shown in some theaters in Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo. Day 29 will be the national debut.

    On Sunday, I saw Harry Potter. Good movie.
