Looking at the photos close up (for purely scientific reasons of course ;) ) - I don't think he's had extensions, at least not yet - the Gyllenhair has always grown quickly and prolifically - he certainly looks happy and like he's having a complete hoot. Also looks very comfortable on the horse, the BBM experience, and maybe some horse riding on a certain little ranch, seem to have paid off.
The bloke in the first picture, in the red t shirt with sword on the brown horse looks really familiar, just can't quite place his face. I keep thinking Navin Chowdhry (Teachers) but I think I'm wrong.
I just love Pic 11 - the horse almost looking like he's going to rear up with a sword-wielding Prince on his/her back. How am I supposed to get any work done now? ;)

I can't stand it - some of these pics enbiggened are just amazing - the gritted teeth and facial expressions - you can just see and feel the movement and action. :)
In the next to last pic, maybe not? She's got on half chaps or something, sorry I don't know my English equestrian gear very well. Is it her or an instructor? I thought it looked like Gemma's face. :)

Finally pics of Jake's hair! Yes. That's all I care about. He's making such great faces in these shots though, just really getting in to it. And the horses are absolutely lovely.
Does anyone know what breed the horses are? Arabian? Sigh. Love the flowing manes in the pics - on both horse and rider. ;) They'll probably refine hair and beard, but in these initial pics, it sure does look good on him! Gives him a wildness.
Afternoon babblers, Jake is tall and so athletic; I've read that Broadway Joe thought that he would be perfect to play him, which is why he chose him for his Biopic. Jake should have a blast making such a physical movie.
